The piles of white marble chips, clouds of stone dust, and the whirring of grinders are all signs that the 2024 Nashua International Sculpture Symposium (NISS) is moving fast out of the gate. Monday was the first full day of carving and the guest artists are making initial progress on the pieces.

If you are in the market for a bicycle for yourself or someone in your life you’re in luck.  On Saturday morning the good folks at the Gate City Bike Co-op will be holding their annual bike sale.  The event is the largest fundraising activity for the not-for-profit group that takes in donated bikes, repairs them, and then provides them at no cost to local worthy residents.

Can-One USA hosted an opening event at the recently revitalized factory facility on Burke Street in Nashua. Executives from the company, The Kane Company, PROCON with city and state officials gave remarks. About 70 guests were given guided tours through the 180,000-square-foot manufacturing plant.
