The Heart of 603 Scavenger Hunt, presented by Meredith Village Savings Bank, has a twist–it takes competitors on the road. Teams start the event at Legion Speedway in Wentworth and follow written, numbered instructions to complete an easy driving route through the CNHCC service area, solving puzzles, visiting member businesses and finding items along the way that relate to the “Heart of 603.” The event concludes with an awards ceremony and celebration at Tenney Mountain Resort in Plymouth.

Chunky’s Nashua is closing as of May 9. I tried calling my “friend” Mike Mannetta – not really a friend but I do warm up to those I interview and then cling to them – in my mind, at least – as friends forever. I met him when Chunky’s was building its beautiful newest theatre in Manchester back in 2016, and followed that process as they were bringing movies back to the Queen City after all the other theaters had closed.
