Randi Gagnon-Davis, 43, of Nashua, died in the fire. The cause of her death was determined to be smoke inhalation and the manner of her death was accidental.
NASHUA, NH – NH State Fire Marshal Sean Toomey confirms one person has died in a fire at 26 Cross St. in Nashua Saturday morning.
Firefighters arrived to heavy fire coming from the second floor of the residence on April 27 with people self-evacuating and reporting that a person was trapped.
Firefighters attempted to rescue the person inside but heavy fire prevented them rescuing the person. Another person was treated by AMR medics and transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.

Crews were able to bring the fire in the two-unit building under control in about 30 minutes. No firefighters were injured in the incident
Fire Marshal Toomey said this is the fourth person to die in a fire-related death in New Hampshire this week. A person died earlier in the week in a fiery crash in Pelham, a man died in a Concord residence, a man died in a Manchester Apartment fire the same day.
Also this is the second fire on Cross Street in about a month.

General Incident Description: Nashua Fire Rescue responded to a reported building Fire at 26 Cross St. One occupant of the fire apartment suffered burns but was able to evacuate the building where they came in contact with an off-duty Fire Lieutenant and relayed information of someone still inside the building and their location. The Fire Lt relayed this information to arriving crews. The occupant was transported to the local hospital by AMR.
Upon arrival Engine 1 had heavy fire showing from a 2-1/2 story multifamily home. Crews stretched numerous hose lines and made an aggressive interior attack. Once inside the fire apartment they found one occupant deceased. Heavy Ssmoke and fire damage occurred throughout the building. Red Cross was called to help displaced residents.
