The Friends of NH Drug Courts and Hillsborough County (South) Drug Court will present a film screening of “The 50,” on Monday, April 29 at 6 p.m. at Nashua Center for the Arts.

The documentary spotlights how 50 California inmates, much like Matos, chose to help others in similar situations by becoming the first incarcerated certified substance abuse counselors in the country.

Following the screening, two cast members will engage in a panel moderated by Judge Tina Nadeau.

Tickets are $25. All proceeds will go to Friends of NH Drug Courts to support the recovery of drug court participants throughout New Hampshire’s nine drug courts.
