April Grand Jury indictments from Hillsborough County Superior Court South

NASHUA, NH – A city man is under indictment on negligent homicide and manslaughter charges in the death of a 16-month-old child.

A Hillsborough County Superior Court South grand jury issued the indictments against Ryan Nadeau, 34, of 4 Gorman Ave.  According to the indictments, between Feb. 27 and Feb. 28, 2023, Nadeau negligently and recklessly caused the death of R.N. when he left fentanyl in an area that R.N. had access to causing the toddler to die from acute fentanyl toxicity.

Others among the 81 indictments handed up by the grand jury are:

  • Avery M. Blodgett, 42, of 9 Mason Court, Concord, two counts of theft by unauthorized taking. On Jan. 4, 2024 in Nashua, Blodgett is accused of possessing a 2006 Toyota Tacoma belonging to M.B. which he took from M.B.’s workplace.  He also allegedly possessed 31 TD bank checks, valued in excess of $1,500, and belonging to M.B.
  • James Bradbury, 49, of 20 Goboro Road, Epsom, insurance fraud.  On Nov. 5, 2019 in Nashua, Bradbury is accused of committing insurance fraud when he made a claim to his insurance company, Liberty Mutual Insurance Co., for damage to his vehicle that was inconsistent with and in excess of damage sustained during a motor vehicle collision with another vehicle.  The value of the fraudulent portion of the claim for payment was more than $1,500.
  • Michael Dumas, 35, of 9 Oakridge Ave., Tyngsboro, Mass., criminal threatening, deadly weapon.  On Sept. 30, 2023 in Pelham, Dumas is accused of pointing a gun at D.B. and D.M.
  • Bruce Fitzpatrick, 32, of 2 Executive Park Drive, Room 304, Merrimack, aggravated felonious sexual assault.  On Sept. 2, 2023 in Merrimack, Fitzpatrick is accused of sexually assaulting an intimate partner while she was sleeping and before she had an adequate chance to flee or resist.
  • Alexander Grabert, 31, of 16 Spaulding St., three counts of insurance fraud. On Sept. 21, 2021, Sept. 23, 2021 and on Oct. 13, 2021, Grabert is accused of committing insurance fraud when he claimed damage to a vehicle that had occurred before he had purchased an auto policy with Progressive Universal Insurance Co. and the value of the fraudulent portion of the claim was more than $1,500.
  • John Hicks, 57, of 31 Garden Drive, Litchfield, witness tampering.  On Jan. 10, 2024 in Litchfield, Hicks is accused of contacting K.H. and threatening to burn their house down if he went to jail because of her reporting to police that he tried to commit suicide and had threatened to stab her.
  • Randy Hildreth, 31, of 105 Whitehouse Road, Lot 79, Rochester, theft by unauthorized taking.  On May 4, 2023 in Nashua, Hildreth is accused of taking a Cadillac, valued at more than $1,500 and selling it to another, depriving C.D. of the vehicle.
  • Donovan Jannette-Hicks, 30, of 8 Putnam Hill Road, Wilton, two counts of first-degree assault, four counts of second-degree assault, two counts of stalking, one count of falsifying physical evidence and one count of witness tampering. Between Dec. 21, 2021 and Jan. 3, 2022 in Greenville, Jannett-Hicks is accused of choking A.F., an intimate partner, and destroying text messages on his cell phone to impair their availability in an investigation.  He also is accused, while out on bail, of punching A.F. in the head, breaking her nose and causing a fractured right orbital bone and a laceration.  On Dec. 23, 2021, he is accused of violating a protective order when he called A.F. multiple times and went to a Greenville address he was barred from going near.   Between Jan. 1 and June 1, 2023, he allegedly attempted to induce G.C. to testify falsely by having a third party, Laura Fisher, reach out to G.C. to convince him to testify falsely on his behalf.
  • Paulo Meneses, 43, of 42.5 West Hollis St., domestic violence, criminal threatening.  On Feb. 1, 2024, Meneses is accused of grabbing a knife and telling A.U.V., that he would cut her open and make her eat her organs.
  • Jordan Sansone, 25, of 1 Morningside Drive, Apt. #R, Derry, six felony charges related to alleged sexual assault of a child. The charges, which are alleged to have taken place from April 28, 2014 to April 28, 2019 in Merrimack, began when the child was six years-old and continued until she was 11.  The charges include two counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault, pattern of abuse; felonious sexual assault; two counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault without penetration, victim under the age of 13, and two counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault, without penetration, victim under the age of 13, special felony.  On conviction, each special felony carries a sentence of 10 to 20 years.

What is a Grand Jury indictment? According to the NH Law Library, an indictment is a criminal charge against a person by a Grand Jury. A Grand Jury considers evidence presented by the County Attorney or the Attorney General and decides whether there is sufficient evidence to formally charge a person with committing a crime. It is part of due process. Any accused individual is presumed innocent until proven guilty by a court of law.
